Swedish Match acquires Cigars International

Swedish Match has acquired the American firm Cigars International, a company that markets and sells cigars.
The privately owned firm will continue to be run as a private company.
Sven Hindriks, CEO of Swedish Match, explained that the acquisition was in line with the company's long-term strategy and that it will enable the company to strengthen its position on the global cigar market.
