The man was found guilty of crimes including arson, contempt of court and forgery by Stockholm District Court on Thursday. The court cleared him on a number of other charges.

His 21-year-old accomplice was found guilty of attempted extortion and was sentenced to probation.

Prosecutors had demanded 12 years' imprisonment for the 20-year-old, but the court gave a lower sentence after finding him not guilty on some charges.

The 20-year-old's twin brother was also prosecuted in the case along with another 21-year-old. They were charged with financial crimes which were not targeted at the prosecutor. In this case, the twin was acquitted, while the 21-year-old man was convicted of illegally obtaining alcoholic drinks. He received a fine.
