Police arrest Gothenburg murder suspect

A 42-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder of a 35-year-old man shot dead at the weekend on a street in Gothenburg's Hisingen district.
The suspect is currently awaiting trial for narcotics offences and has a number of previous convictions for crimes including assault and robbery, Dagens Nyheter reports.
The victim was also known to police and is thought to have been active in criminal circles.
