Football legend to inaugurate Pride festival

Swedish football legend Glenn Hysén has been announced as the inaugural speaker for the 2007 Stockholm Pride festival. The theme for this year's event is sport and Hysén will be joined on stage by Minister for Sport Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth.
"It is an honour to speak at the opening of the Pride festival. I haven't a clue what I'm going to talk about but I'm a sports fanatic so it'll work out somehow," said Hysén.
This year's theme was chosen as a means of tackling the problem of homophobia within the world of sport.
The festival is set to begin on July 30th and will continue until August 5th.
