Sports leaders assaulted boy
Two leaders of an innebandy, or floorball, team have been found guilty of assaulting a 14-year-old boy in Örebro.
While on a tour the men were asleep in a dormitory with their team from Västergötland when, they claim, the boy came in and woke everyone. The men were found by the court to have jumped on the boy, smashed his head against a wall and punched his face and body several times.
The team leaders were given a conditional jail sentence and 75 hours' community service, reported local newspaper Nerikes Allehanda.
The men were also ordered by Örebro district court to pay 15,400 kronor in compensation to the boy.
