New HIV man discovered in Gothenburg

A 27-year-old man in Gothenburg suspected of infecting three women with HIV has been placed in quarantine.
On discovering that the three women had all had sexual relations with the same man, a doctor specializing in infectious diseaseshe contacted the county court in Västra Götaland.
The court agreed to the doctor's unusual request that the man be placed in quarantine.
The public prosecutor in Gothenburg began a preliminary investigation into the allegations on Monday. The 27-year is suspected of serious assault on the grounds that he knowingly infected the three women.
Aftonbladet reports that the suspect lived with one of the women and had relationships with the other two.
