Charlotte Lindström, 22, is accused of telling an undercover police officer that two people due to witness in the drugs trial of her boyfriend would need to be murdered.

Her boyfriend, Steven Spaliviero, 44, has been in custody since late last year, charged with manufacturing drugs worth millions of Australian dollars.

Lindström and Spaliviero are both charged with two counts of conspiring to murder and two counts of soliciting murder.

The Swedish Ambassador and Lindström's mother were in court for the bail hearing, the Sydney Morning Herald reports. Her mother had offered to stay in Sydney to ensure that Lindström kept her bail conditions, the court was told. She told the court that her daughter had not been in trouble before, but had suffered from anorexia.

The prosecution opposed the granting of bail, saying his case was very strong.

Magistrate Alan Moore refused bail, saying that the allegations against Lindström were "a very serious matter."
