Reinfeldt to meet Governator
Fredrik Reinfeldt is to meet California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger during his visit to the United States next week, the Prime Minister's office has announced.
Reinfeldt has already scheduled meetings with President George Bush and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. Schwarzenegger had previously said he would be away during Reinfeldt's visit, but a change to his plans now enables him to meet the prime minister in Sacramento on Wednesday.
Schwarzenegger, also known as the star of the Terminator movies, has met a number of European centre-right politicians. His green, moderate conservative image is viewed by some as closer to the centre-right in many European countries than George Bush's brand of conservatism.
Energy and environmental questions are expected to be on the agenda for the meeting between the two men.
