Last week a thief (or thieves) drove in to the park, took a saw to the fallen trees and disappeared with the logs, newspaper Nerikes Allehanda reports.

"We are treating this very seriously. We have reported the theft and damage to the environmental prosecutor," Mats Grimfoot from the county administrative board told the newspaper.

It is against the law to drive motor driven vehicles in a national park. It are also prohibitions against making off with fallen trees.
