Woman shot dead in Gothenburg

A woman in her twenties was shot dead in a Gothenburg apartment on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were alerted just before 3pm that a woman had been shot at the apartment on Paprikagatan in the Lövegärdet district. The woman was found badly injured and taken to the city's Sahlgrenska Hospital.
"I can confirm that the woman is dead. She was dead on arrival at hospital," said police spokesman Stefan Gustafsson.
Police are releasing few details of the incident, saying only that a murder investigation has been started. The apartment has been sealed off for investigation.
