Swedish housing prices on the rise
Housing prices are continuing to rise all over the country. The increase is partly due to the fact that apartment prices in Stockholm have begun to take off again, according to estate agency statistics.
Figures for the last three months also show that, while apartments are becoming more expensive, house prices have come to a standstill.
According to SEB bank's new housing price index a majority of households expect prices to continue climbing.
Of the households surveyed, 42 per cent anticipate a rise in housing prices over the coming year. Whereas last month 37 per cent expected prices to drop, only 29 per cent now reckon with falling prices.
