Swede dies in Morocco crash
Seven French tourists, a Swedish holidaymaker and four Moroccans were killed in a crash on Saturday north of Marrakesh, a popular Moroccan tourist destination, an official at the local morgue told AFP on Sunday.
The driver of the bus owned by a French tour operator and a further 26 tourists were injured, four seriously, in the crash at Benguerir, 60 kilometres north of Marrakesh.
Among the injured were 23 French tourists, two Dutch citizens and a Swedish woman.
The acccident occurred when the tourist bus, owned by a French tour operator and carrying around 40 people, and a roadworks truck collided, according to the national MAP news agency.
