Iraqis smuggled over Öresund Bridge
Two men were arrested on Tuesday morning as they attempted to smuggle 13 Iraqi men over the Öresund Bridge to Malmö.
Bo Engerby of Malmö police said the men made no attempt to conceal themselves as they sat in a minibus travelling across the bridge.
When the vehicle was stopped, the men applied immediately for asylum, and their case was handed over to the Swedish Board of Migration.
The men will be questioned on Tuesday morning.
"We shall try to work out how the Iraqis have come here," said Engerby.
