Girl, 17, locked up for killing teenage boy

A 17-year-old girl who stabbed a 16-year-old boy to death in Örebro has today been sentenced to four years instuitional care. Because of her age this was the maximum sentence the girl could have received from Örebro district court, Nerikes Allehanda reports.
On the evening of the murder the girl went to visit younger brother in hospital after he had bean badly beaten in an arranged fight.
Enraged by the sight of her injured brother she went to the Örebro suburb of Vivalla to seek out and kill the 16-year-old boy responsible.
The boy died from his injuries on the way to hospital.
