White collar wages increase most

Salaries for white-collar workers increased the most during the past few months, according to Statistics Sweden in a report on Friday.
Within the private sector white-collared workers’ salaries increased 3.2 percent, while workers salaries went up 2.7 percent during the past 13 months.
Central government salaries increased 2.9 percent, municipality wages went up 2.6 percent and county salaries 2.7 percent.
The changes are measured comparing the average hourly pay and monthly salary.
The survey took place between April 2005 and April 2006.
