Six years for kidnap nightmare
A 24 year old man was sentenced to six years prison by Malmö district court on Thursday for a kidnapping he carried out with two others in April.
The victim, a 26 year old man, was abducted in his own car, abused, beaten, and robbed of his money before he was dumped at a gas station in Malmö the following day.
The owner of the car was forced to drink motor oil and was threatened with a hypodermic needle full of cleaning chemicals, reported Skånska Dagbladet.
After several terrifying hours, the victim said he would persuade his parents to deposit 4,000 kronor in the account of the 24-year-old and the two other captors.
A 35-year-old woman acted as bait to lure the victim.
She and the third man, a 25-year-old, are both to undergo psychiatric evaluation by the court before their trial continues.
