Immigrants 'not getting enough support'
Several authorities in Sweden are being criticized by the State Audit Institution for not providing enough support for immigrants to establish themselves in society.
The Swedish Integration Board has not followed financial support rules regarding districts in Sweden. The Swedish Employment Service was criticized for not prioritizing new immigrants, and the Migration Board has not fully organized introduction classes, according to the Institution.
“Recently-arrived immigrants risk not getting a well organized introduction into society as a result of the Integration Board and the other agencies not working together,” said Eva Lindström, a State Audit Institution spokeswoman.
