Supreme court will not try Gabrielsen case
Sweden’s Supreme Court has said it will not try the case of three men convicted in connection with the killing of a 29-year old man in central Stockholm last year.
Marcus Gabrielsen died following an attack where he was kicked repeatedly in the head by a gang on Kungsgatan, one of the capital’s busiest streets. Three men were sentenced to four years in jail for manslaughter and serious assault, but they were found not guilty of murder on appeal.
The Supreme Court ruling confirms the sentences passed by the appeal court.
