Silvia's brother dies

Queen Silvia's brother, Jörg Sommerlath, has died at the age of 64. He had been diagnosed with throat cancer in 2004.
King Carl Gustaf is leaving the Winter Olympics in Turin early in order to be at his wife's side, according to the palace's press secretary, Nina Eldh.
The Queen has been at her brother's side for some time now, at a hospital in Aachen, Germany.
