Weekend cold snap expected

Temperatures are expected to fall sharply across Sweden this weekend, with high pressure fronts bringing cold weather to most of the country.
After over a week of unseasonably mild weather, snow showers are expected in Norrland, Svealand and Östra Götaland, although forecasters at weather service SMHI say that the volume of snow will be relatively small.
The temperature in parts of Norrland is expected to fall to –25 degrees celsius, with lows of –13 in Stockholm on Sunday. Gothenburg is expected to experience lows of –11, with Malmö down to –8.
