Injured soldier out of hospital

A Swedish special forces soldier seriously injured in a bomb attack in Afghanistan last November that killed two of his colleagues has left hospital, the Swedish armed forces have disclosed.

"He has left hospital and is undergoing rehabilitation," was all that the Swedish Military would say about the surviving soldier. It gave no details about how he is, which hospital he was in, or where he is now.

The soldier was serving in SSG, Sweden's elite military force, details of which are top secret.

A fourth soldier sustained minor injuries in the attack, and was released from hospital soon after being admitted. The soldier just discharged from hospital was under sedation for a long period, and his condition had been described as life-threatening.
