Prison for Rembrandt dealers

Three people have been found guilty of handling stolen goods following the raid on Stockholm's National Museum five years ago. They were given prison sentences of between one and two years, reported Dagens Nyheter.

In December 2000 two paintings by Renoir and one by Rembrandt were stolen in an audacious theft.

The Rembrandt was recovered in the autumn as the three men tried to sell it to undercover police in a hotel room in Copenhagen.

A fourth person was freed by the court.
