Of 137 cases of suspected illegal discrimination only four led to a prosecution. In 59 cases there was no inquiry and in 73 cases the inquiry was closed.

Of the four cases which were brought to court only one resulted in a guilty verdict, reported Sydsvenskan.

Chief prosecutor Sven-Erik Alhem said that "the yield is poor" when it comes to judicial measures against illegal discrimination.
