November 26th - December 23rd
The Christmas Market with traditional handcrafts, homemade Christmas candy, hot food ready to eat as you enjoy atmospheric music and Santa's house are at the centre of Malmö City's Christmas activities for young and old alike.
There's also a Christmas carousel, ice skating, Santa's sleigh and superb Christmas shopping in 800 stores which have extended opening hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Christmas at Skansen
Christmas at Skansen is a whole month of events and celebrations - from the opening up of the first Christmas market until the fireworks at New Year´s Eve. Besides shopping at the market - where you will be able to buy traditional sausages, cheeses, handicrafts, spices and essences, Christmas decorations and masses of other irresistible items - there will be craft demonstrations and live music in some of the buildings.
There you can also find the tables set for Christmas dinner. Try the dancing games around the Christmas tree and make your own Christmas decorations in the Christmas workshop. There are Christmas menus at our restaurants and you can buy a Christmas tree for your home by the main entrance. Christmas all over the place, in other words.
