Swedish gang leader arrested in Denmark
Swedish police have arrested a Swedish gang leader in Copenhagen. The 45 year old man is the leader of the so called Naser Gang.
The man has been wanted internationally for several cases of serious extortion. He is also suspected of conspiring to commit serious assault.
The arrest was said to have been undramatic. Two Swedish police officers, on a private study trip to Copenhagen, spotted him in a shop in the city. They contacted Danish police, who arrested him.
The Swedish authorities will issue an extradition request but the time it will take for the 45 year old to be transferred to Sweden is unclear.
