Somali genocide suspect arrested in Sweden
A 57-year-old Somali man was arrested in Sweden early Monday suspected of genocide in Somalia, police told AFP.
"The man was arrested in Lund and immediately transferred to Gothenburg," on the southwestern coast, a police spokesman in Lund told AFP.
Police declined to disclose any other information but in its online edition, tabloid Aftonbladet identified the man as Abdi Qeybdiid, the right-hand man to late Somali warlord Mohammed Farrah Aidid in the 1990s.
