Students fail to find prostitutes in Malmö
Malmö´s first attempt to survey the sex trade in the city's restaurant world has drawn a blank. A project, which has been going on in Malmö since last spring, recently ended with no conclusive results.
Two graduates from a school of social studies have been hitting the Malmö nightlife two evenings and nights a week.
"We haven´t seen any prostitution at all," said Camilla Wallin to Metro.
"On the other hand - from the stories from bar staff - we know that it exists."
According to the bar owners, very few prostitutes actually pick up their customers in restaurants or bars. Instead, they are the meeting places after contact has been established on the internet.
