Swedish campers found after bear scare
Two young Swedish hikers who went missing in the mountainous border area of northern Dalarna have been found, Norwegian police have reported.
The father of one of the hikers received a text message on Tuesday evening saying that a bear had been outside their tent for an hour. Police became concerned when the pair failed to get in touch again, and started a search for them.
They were found to the north of Grövelsjön, on the Norwegian side of the border, and were flown by police helicopter to the Swedish side. No bear was found in the vicinity, police say.
