Sexual harassment common among school pupils

"Over half did not know the consequences for someone who harasses another person," said researcher Eva Witowska, at the National Institute for Working Life, in a press release.

Almost 1,000 randomly-picked 16-19 year old students across Sweden were questioned in the survey about their school environment.

The study revealed that certain behaviour, such as calling girls 'whores', is seen as so commonplace that schools no longer take action.
