SAS announces National Day ticket giveaway
Scandinavian Airlines is celebrating Sweden's national holiday on Monday by giving away 2,300 domestic tickets for the day.
The tickets will be dished out at 14 Swedish airports on a first-come, first-served basis. But there is a catch. In order to claim your free flight you will have to show up wearing the blue and yellow of the Swedish flag.
"We want to give people the opportunity to see more of Sweden," said Anders Ehrling, the managing director of Scandinavian Airlines Sweden.
"Hopefully we can also contribute to giving the national day more of a party atmosphere," he added.
The tickets will be valid for the whole of 2005, said the airline in a press statement.
