SAS passenger traffic increased by 4,5% in March 2005 compared to the same period in 2004. 2,7 million passengers travelled with the company in March 2005. The overall cabin load-the figure showing how full the planes were - was 64 percent, an increase of 1.7 percent.

Passenger figures for SAS's subsidiary Scandinavian Airlines decreased by 2.5 percent. However, Scandinavian Airlines' cabin load increased by 1.9 percent, up to 66.9 percent.

Scandinavian Airlines overall profit increased by 3% in February compared to the same month last year. It is, however, expected that this year's early Easter and lower prices on European routes from Copenhagen will lead to lower profits for March, the SAS Group announced in its monthly report.
