Telia and Vattenfall offer storm compensation
Some 25,000 subscribers still have no landlines after the storm that devastated parts of southern Sweden more than a fortnight ago. Telia is prepared to raise the amount of compensation to those who have been most severely affected to 2,250 crowns.
Meanwhile, Vattenfall says that it will not only guarantee customers who have been without electricity compensation but will even pay the cost of spoilt food in freezers.
