Five drunken truckers caught leaving Trelleborg ferry
Five drunken truck drivers were caught driving off the ferry from Germany in Trelleborg late on Monday night, reported SvD on Tuesday.
Ystad police are worried that there could have been more drivers that were under the influence. They confirmed that once they get a positive breathing test they have to attend to the case straight away. They admit there may be some "hidden statistics", according to SvD.
Three of the drivers lost their licences and one was charged with serious drink driving.
"We regularly catch truck drivers who drink and drive, but it's very unusual to catch five of them at the same time", said Mats Hammar of Ystad police.
