SAS increase loss

Scandinavian Airlines is clocking up the air miles but losing revenue, the business papers reported this week.
In the second quarter of the tax year SAS - the fourth largest airline in Europe - posted a loss of 238 million crowns, despite increasing passenger numbers.
SAS claims that the root of the problem is over-capacity - along with higher fuel prices, which are 50% up on the same quarter last year.
